Lambda Televentures enters the global cellular telecoms market and offers end-to-end expertise with acquisition of a majority stake in Paris-based VC-backed high-end antenna player ARIALCOM.

New Delhi, India - November 12, 2008 - Lambda Televentures Pvt. Ltd. entered the global market and expanded its offerings and IP portfolio with the acquisition of ARIALCOM, a company headquartered in France and developing and marketing multiband antennas for base stations.

Acknowledged for the unrivalled level of performance of its antennas, ARIALCOM supplies many operators and equipment manufacturers throughout the world. ARIALCOM brings deep expertise in 2G and 3G band antennas, integrated antennas, and multi-sector structures designed to enhance performance while reducing visual impact.

Lambda is poised to invest € 10m in its antenna business in the coming months to scale its manufacturing, sales and marketing activities, with a special focus on the EMEA region. The Group will introduce its complete portfolio and expects to reach revenues of about € 40 million in the short future.

The acquisition is a new step in the international development of the Lambda Group after the opening of its US and Russian offices earlier this year.
